Kisaki tries to persuade Takemichi and Chifuyu to work together to put an end to Taiju and the Black Dragon Gang.

While Chifuyu is adamantly opposed to working with Kisaki, Takemichi is forced to accept Kisaki's assistance and collaborate with him.

According to Takemichi, working with Kisaki will add more value to their goal in the long run.

This rare opportunity will help them figure out how to kick Kisaki out of Toman; additionally, they will need more hands to bring the Black Dragon down and prevent Hakkai from killing his brother.

Fortunately, Takemichi persuades Chifuyu to go along with his plan. Chifuyu even jokes that Christmas will be unpleasant because he will spend the night with delinquents rather than beautiful women.

Soon after, Takemichi and Chifuyu meet with Kisaki and Hanma to inform them that they have agreed to collaborate, but only until Christmas.

Chifuyu also clarifies that they only want to protect Hakkai and not become friends with Kisaki and Hanma because they despise their guts.

Kisaki and Hanma, on the other hand, find it amusing that they will all be working as one team on Christmas Eve.

The next day after school, Takemichi walks home with Hinata and Naoto. They pause at a nearby playground, where Hinata tells Takemichi that she can't wait for Christmas to come.

Takemichi realizes he's made another mistake because he's already double-booked for that important day!

Worse, he has no recollection of the plans he made with Hina.

That's when Naoto interrupts Takemichi and Hina, saying he wants to go home right away because he hates wasting time, prompting Takemichi to say Kisaki's name because Naoto sounds like him, and Hina agrees.

Takemichi is taken aback when he notices Hina agreeing with him. He asked Hina if she knew Kisaki, to which she replied, that she knew him since they went to the same cram school in elementary school.

In a flashback, Kisaki sits beside Hina during advanced class at cram school. He was not only able to compute the correct answer to the teacher's question on the board, but he also placed first on the national elementary school exams.

While everyone in their class dislikes Kisaki, Hina regards him as a good kid and the smartest in class.

Hina also recalls how she often walked home with Kisaki.

Takemichi informs Hina that Kisaki is now a captain on Toman and a full-time delinquent.

Nonetheless, Hina believes that Takemichi and Kisaki will get along well because the latter has a good heart.

Moving on, Hina reveals that the first time she met Takemichi, she was with Kisaki.

It was the summer of sixth grade, and some of the kids were torturing a cat for fun on the way home from cram school.

Hina took it upon herself to stop the kids at the time, while Kisaki stood by on the sidelines.

When the cat escaped and the kids decided to bully Hina instead, Takemichi entered the picture.

Takemichi, dressed in a red cape, appeared out of nowhere, kicking one of the kids in the chest like a superhero.

Takemichi defended Hina and shielded her from the kids despite shaking like a leaf and bawling his eyes out.

In the present time, Takemichi thinks it was stupid of him to help out but for Hinata, he was far more amazing than someone who would have won. Hina also revealed on that day that he had fallen in love with Takemichi.

Before they parted ways, Hinata reminded Takemichi of their plans to meet at Umishita Park on Christmas Eve.

Because the battle with the Black Dragon Gang will take place on Christmas night, Takemichi will be able to fulfill both of his scheduled plans.

On the other hand, Takemichi recalls breaking up with Hinata on Christmas Eve at Umishita Park.

He wonders what caused him to decide to dump Hinata, but he believes nothing will force him to do so.

Suddenly, a man who resembles Naoto from the future appears and introduces himself as Masato Tachibana, Hina and Naoto's father.

Masato invited Takemichi to a coffee shop to talk. Takemichi becomes concerned, but Masato assures him that he will not bite off his head.

Masato begins the conversation by thanking Takemichi for changing Naoto's mind about his job as a police officer who barely gets home.

To Takemichi's surprise, Masato also vowed to ask him to break up with Hina because he's a hoodlum who can make life difficult for his daughter.

Takemichi ended his relationship with Hinata on Christmas Eve, as Masato desired for both of them. He also told Hina that he liked someone else and no longer liked her.

As a result, Hinata beat Takemichi to the ground while sobbing uncontrollably. She also expressed her disdain for Takemichi's guts.

Takemichi sobs as Hina walks away, despite knowing that breaking up with Hina is for the best.

Takemichi meets Kisaki, Hanma, and Chifuyu at a diner before the episode ends.

They discuss their plans for Christmas night, including how they will persuade Hakkai not to kill his brother while also beating Taiju down.
