All the Different Styles of Gang Jackets and Their Meanings in Tokyo Revengers

Each of the gang members in Tokyo Revengers has their own iconic look, but their jackets (special attack clothing) are what make them easily recognizable.

Let’s admit it, we all wanted to wear the same black tokko-fuku worn by Mikey, Drakken, Takemichi, and even Baji in Tokyo Manji Gang.

They look like the most powerful gang in the series just by the jacket’s intimidating and strong presence.

Toman’s official uniform, or special attack clothing per se, is fashioned on the Bosozoku (youth culture associated with custom motorcycles) sub-culture in Japan.

Every member has their position or division number, along with the gang’s manifesto, embroidered on the sleeves of the jacket. The name Toman is adorned on the backside of the jacket.

The logo of Toman was derived from Mikey’s name and Japanese Buddhism, and it symbolizes power and good fortune.

Those who held a higher position in Toman wore a white tasuki or sash. Meanwhile, Mikey wears a similar sash, but in the color red.

Similar to Toman, Moebius’ wears a tokko-fuku, but in a different color. The members wear white with the words "SHIN∞JUKU MOEBIUS" on the back.

The generation number and position of the member are adorned on the sleeves as well.

On the other hand, Moebius’ leader wears a red tokko-fuku with the words "Bring it on hot shot" weaved on the front and "Eighth Generation President" on the sleeves.

The gang’s insignia is a snake eating its tail, creating an infinity symbol.

The Valhalla Gang’s White MA-1 Bomber Jacket

The Headless Angels wear a white MA-1 bomber jacket with the words "TEAM WALHALLA" printed on the back. Each member also has a red ribbon tag with the word "WALHALLA" attached to their left arm.

The headless angel is Valhalla’s insignia, which means that the gang has no acting leader.

Eventually, Mikey, along with Kisaki Tetta, took over the gang after the Bloody Halloween incident. It became Toman’s parent organization, and a new Tokyo Manji Gang was reborn.

The Black Dragon Gang’s White Military Garb-Like Jacket

In the past, Black Dragon members used to wear the same tokko-fuku as Toman. But in Sion Madarame’s time, they finally changed it.

Eventually, the uniform was remodeled to look like military garb that matched the gang’s fearsome reputation and image.

Taiju Shiba, on the other hand, wears the same uniform but in red to distinguish him from his underlings.

The Black Dragon’s official insignia has the letters B and D, as well as a dragon-like pattern, literally telling everyone that they are the Black Dragon Gang.

Most likely, the dragon also symbolizes the unique structure of the gang due to its systematic succession process.

All the members of Tenjiku wear a long red outer coat, making them iconic among the rest of the gangs in Tokyo Revengers.

The length of their coat represents their position in the gang. The longer it is, the higher the rank of the member.

Tenjiku has their signature yin and yang emblem printed on the back. Their mottos are adorned on their sleeves as well as on the uniform’s rear flaps.

Above the emblem, there is the wearer’s generation, as does the kanji for Yokohama.
