As she takes on a new role as a webtoon editor, the series shares the competitive nature of job postings in South Korea, especially in the webtoon industry.

Today’s Webtoon Episode 8 Recap
Neon Webtoon’s artist, Na Gang Nam, meets Youngtoon’s Jang Hye Mi as he thinks that he might gain more benefits if he moves to another platform.
Seok Ji Hyung and On Ma Eum see them and start thinking that the artist might leave Neon for Youngtoon. The assistant editor tries to persuade him by telling him that he would have succeeded even more if he followed his desire to create dark and intense webtoons.
Unfortunately, Neon always disapproves his pitches and makes him continue Princess Kumiho instead.
Meanwhile, Pomme notices the webcams inside her home, so he asks for Goo Jun Yeong’s help.
Seok Ji Hyung, on the other hand, meets Na Gang Nam to confront him about his meeting with Jang Hye Mi and ask him if he will join Youngtoon. The artist assures him that he will still need to think about it, but it causes the team to hold an urgent meeting.

On Ma Eum also calls Na Gang Nam and tells him how his work changed her life.
The author starts seeing Princess Kumiho main character everywhere, and it makes his girlfriend feel jealous of the character. He eventually agrees to extend his contract with Neon while working on a horror series with Youngtoon.
Pomme also reveals that Youngtoon’s Jang Hye Mi wants to meet her, as well.
Due to On Ma Eum’s hard work, Shin Dae Ryuk’s webtoon will finally be published.
Amid the good news, the team receives another bad news as Seok Ji Hyung receives an offer to become the chief editor of Youngtoon.
