Today’s Webtoon is an ongoing K-drama adaptation of the popular Japanese series Sleepeeer Hit!. It explores On Ma Eum’s life, a former judo athlete who gives up her Olympic dreams after an accident. As she takes on a new role as a webtoon editor, the series shares the competitive nature of job postings in South Korea, especially in the webtoon industry.
The series features Kim Sejeong, who plays the role of On Ma Eum, alongside Nam Yoon Su and Choi Daniel.

Today’s Webtoon Episode 6 Recap
After an emotional conversation with her father, On Ma Eum finally lets go of the secret she has been keeping from him.
Kwon Young Bae, whose nickname is Rookie Artists’ Grave, starts working On Ma Eum’s previous artist, Goo Seul A. Meanwhile, the webtoon editing department faces a new issue as Neon wants webtoon to be removed from the website’s homepage.
Goo Jun Yeong, who was asked by Heo Gwan Young to send him the webtoon editing department’s real KPI, almost got caught by Seok Ji Hyung.
On the other hand, On Ma Eum becomes worried about Goo Seul A’s well-being as she has reportedly sleep-deprived in the past days because of the project. Kwon Young Bae adds more stress as he asks her to change the character’s hairstyle after completing the episodes.
Again, On Ma Eum and Goo Jun Yeong become closer to each other, leaving Seok Ji Hyung curious about their relationship. Goo Jun Yeong also starts to feel something weird toward his colleague.

When On Ma Eum visits Goo Seul A, she finds her unconscious because of exhaustion. She talks to Kwon Young Bae alongside Seok Ji Hyung and Jang Man Cheol and ends up fighting because of Goo Seul A’s status and well-being.
When Seok Ji Hyung meets On Ma Eum and Goo Jun Yeong, they talk about how the editing department should work. He also tells the rookie producers Kwon Young Bae’s past.
It turns out Heo Gwan Young has something to do with it when he decided to close down the first webtoon website, Gingertoon.
