T.J. Miller's Weasel Will Not Be in X-Force

T.J. Miller is one of the many Hollywood stars accused of sexual assault, resulting in many of the projects he was involved in distancing themselves from him. Deadpool 2 is not one of those films since he seems to be heavily involved in the movie and it's too late to remove or replace him.

However, it turns out Miller won't be in the next movie Deadpool will be appearing in; X-Force. Considering how prevalent Miller's character Weasel was in forming the group, if the trailers are anything to go by, this is a sad but understandable move.

Deadpool 2 star Ryan Reynolds confirmed the news in the NY Times, simply stating that Miller would not be a part of X-Force. While he didn't say it was due to the sexual harassment allegations, the fact that it was brought up at all essentially confirms it. Unless Weasel dies in Deadpool 2, there's no reason for Miller to be dropped aside from that.

No one can blame Reynolds or Fox for making that decision, especially since there doesn't seem to be any proper defense statements coming from Miller or his representatives.

Deadpool 2 will hit theaters this month, on May 18. No release date for X-Force has been announced.
