Jason Todd has officially joined Titans. In preparation of the new Robin's upcoming episode, Curran Walters has shared a behind-the-scenes look at his character in the DC Universe series.
In the episode Together, Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) was attacked by a strike group and was almost killed. However, he was saved by the new Robin. The episode hinted at what will happen next week yet Walters couldn't wait to celebrate for his character. The young actor shared a new photo on his official Twitter account. Take a look at his tweet below.
Walters wrote, "It's time. Jason Todd." It's both a reference at his character and the November 16 episode simply titled Jason Todd.
The promo for Jason Todd reveals that Dick actually introduces the new Robin to the Titans. "Wait, you're Robin, too?" Gar asks. Rachel turns to Dick, asking, "I thought you were Robin." Dick is exasperated by the meeting. "I am," he answers, to which Jason adds, "He was." However, it's Gar who has the best line in the exchange: "How many Robins are there?"
The teaser also hints at a new villain that is targeting Dick. Needless to say, it looks like the two Robins will be teaming up as Dick shares a little more about his history with the Caped Crusader.
Titans certainly isn't shy about being a dark series yet Jason's introduction suggests that there will be a lot of humor in the upcoming episode as well. We can't wait to see more of Walters as the new Robin next week.
The new Titans episode Jason Todd will air on DCU on November 16.
