The Witcher: Jaskier Cameo Details in Blood Origin Revealed

We already know that The Witcher: Blood Origin will take place hundreds of years before Geralt of Rivia became the White Wolf. However, that doesn't mean that we won't be seeing anyone from the main series in the upcoming prequel show. A new leak confirms that Jaskier will make an appearance and the details of Joey Batey's cameo have been revealed!

It has been confirmed that The Witcher: Blood Origin is all about new characters whose stories happened years before the events in the main series. So who is the best character to bridge the two shows? Why not the bard who knows all the tales of the Continent?

Redanian Intelligence reports that Jaskier is expected to appear in The Witcher: Blood Origin and even had details of the scene that the bard will show up in. According to the report, "Jaskier is in his natural habitat: a tavern." It is here that he starts singing about the tale that will be told in Blood Origin. However, he is interrupted by an elf who claims that this isn’t how it happened.

There is a possibility that the elf will be the one to share what truly happened in the past and set the tone for the series. With that in mind, it's possible that Jaskier's role will be a mere cameo and he isn't expected to be a major part of the storyline.

It's great to know that The Witcher: Blood Origin will bring in a familiar face to set the pace for the series and create a bridge for the two shows. But will we see other characters from The Witcher in the prequel? We'll be keeping an eye out for updates about this story.

The Witcher: Blood Origin has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to air on Netflix later this year. Stay tuned for more updates.
