Say what you will about David Ayer's "divisive" Suicide Squad film but at least it was responsible for giving us Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and I think we can all agree that the Australian actress has always been the perfect casting choice to play the iconic Batman character in the DC Extended Universe. It's pretty evident too that Robbie is having the time of her life portraying the role but even she has to admit that some things about the "original" Suicide Squad film didn't click.

Apparently, Margot wasn't a fan of the "rotten" tattoo inked on Harley's face and she wanted to have it removed. Thankfully, James Gunn shared the same sentiments about the ink which is why the tattoo is no longer present on Quinn's face in Gunn's version of The Suicide Squad. Taking to Instagram, the Guardians of the Galaxy director explained: "Margot didn't like it and found out I also didn't like it so we decided just to remove it." Gunn later said that the removal of the tattoo won't be addressed in the film.

I don't know about you but I'm liking the dynamic between Gunn and his The Suicide Squad cast so far and while it's a little too early to tell, I'm pretty positive that the film will blow us all away. I've always thought that Gunn was the right man for the job and thankfully, he took on the project. Hopefully, it'll spawn more DCEU projects for the director down the line despite his recent claims that he'll quit filmmaking soon.

The Suicide Squadhits cinemas and HBO Max this August.
