The Suicide Squad Set Photos Hint at the Appearance of Bane

The Suicide Squad has just recently moved its principal photography to Panama, and now it looks like images and videos taken from the set of James Gunn's reboot sequel of the DC Extended Universe's Suicide Squad movie might actually hint at the appearance of Bane.

According to Cosmic Book News, DC fans in Panama have been taking to social media to talk about The Suicide Squad. Apparently, Gunn is filming fight scenes that are supposed to take place in a fictional DC Comics city which may hint at the inclusion of Bane or perhaps the Kobra Kult.

A flag that is being used all around the set of the upcoming comic book movie may signal the fictional city of Santa Prisca. This city could hint at the Peña Duro prison where Bane's Group stays at. It could also hint at the Corto Maltese and the use of the Kobra Cult, groups that are considered enemies of the Suicide Squad in DC comic book canon.

Right now there aren't that many official reports about what Gunn has planned for The Suicide Squad. Warner Brothers is trying its best to keep the film under wraps so that it can avoid spoiling the film's story.

Despite the studio's best efforts, set photos and videos give fans a first look at what Margot Robbie might look like as the film's Harley Quinn. It's also given fans a look at Joel Kinnaman who's set to return as Rick Flag in the upcoming Suicide Squad reboot sequel.

The Suicide Squad is set for release on August 6, 2021.
