The Simpsons Poster Teases New Star Wars Parody Coming May 4th

May 4th is something special for those who are celebrating, mainly Star Wars fans. The intergalactic franchise goes beyond excellence; even other franchises tend to celebrate its inception.

Disney+ announced a second Simpsons and Star Wars crossover short titled Rogue Not Quite One, which will see Maggie Simpson in the center once more when it premieres for Star Wars Day on May 4.

Per the announcement, the short film's first key-art poster has also been revealed. It teases Maggie's space combat against a fleet of Imperial TIE Fighters.

“In Maggie Simpson in Rogue Not Quite One, Homer loses track of Maggie who hops in Grogu’s hovering pram for a hyperspace-hopping adventure across the galaxy,” reads the official synopsis. “Facing a squadron of Imperial TIE fighters, Maggie brings the battle to Springfield in this epic short celebrating all things Star Wars.”

The long-running animated series is no stranger to commemorating the epic space franchise. In 2021, The Simpsons debuted The Force Awakens from Its Nap, which was also nominated for an Emmy.

The upcoming second crossover promises to swoon the fans as the youngest Simpson child borrows a ride from Grogu, widely regarded as Baby Yoda. The two have a lot in common, and neither speaking trait adds to their charm.

The upcoming short is the latest in a series of Simpsons Disney+ videos that are available on Disney+, including The Simpsons Meet the Bocellis in Feliz Navidad, The Good, The Bart, and The Loki and The Simpsons in Plusaversary.

Star Wars Day aims to please the fans with the upcoming arrival of Star Wars: Visions' second season, Star Wars vehicles in Rocket League, and a Star Wars and Fortnite crossover featuring Anakin, Padme, and Darth Maul, among others.

Being on air for more than 30 years and an integral part of pop culture, anything The Simpsons do always tends to make it to the trending list or the talk of the town.
