The Russo Brothers Tease Ant-Man And Hawkeye’s Story In Avengers 4

Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) might have been missing in action in Avengers: Infinity War, but that doesn't mean that the three are still going to sit it out when the Avengers try to undo Thanos' massacre in Avengers: Infinity War.

Speaking in MTV's Happy Sad Confused podcast, Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo decided to open up about the Marvel superheroes that got benched in the first installment in their two-part Avengers movie.

"There's a very specific story choice why," Anthony explained.

"We have a very interesting story cooked up for both of those characters, and part of that story required they be under house arrest," his brother Joe, added.

House arrest seems interesting, but we're pretty sure there are other reasons why Ant-Man, The Wasp, and Hawk got benched in Infinity War.

It's going to be a while till we get to see Avengers 4, but fans are going to get to see Ant-Man and his new partner later next, next month. Scott Lang and Hope are going on a mission in Ant-Manand the Wasp and Marvel fans are going to see the two kick ass when the film premieres in July this year.

However, it'll take fans some time to see what Hawkeye's been up to, seeing how Clint Barton has yet to receive a standalone movie of his own. All we've got to do is sit tight and wait. After all, they say patience is key.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently screening in cinemas.
