In Pokemon, thunder attacks are ineffective against rock-type monsters. Will that be the same if the God of Thunder took on The Rock? That's something fans want to find out now that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has seemingly issued a challenge to the MCU actor. Johnson even claimed that he is calling MCU head Kevin Feige to make this movie happen, so those that want a Marvel-Fast and Furious crossover should keep their fingers crossed.
Some people do credit Johnson for making the Fast and Furious franchise more popular than it ever was, so this could be box office gold. For some reason, Johnson didn't make this a Black Adam vs Thor debate which would have resulted in a flame-war. Considering the terms Marvel and DC are in, we would probably see a Marvel-Fast and Furious crossover before a full-blown Avengers vs Justice League film.
Of course, fans are still wondering if Thor is going to survive the events of Avengers: Endgame as the film looks to be the end for several cast members of the original Avengers. Hemsworth will always be Thor to many and it will be interesting to see if this will be the end of the actor's tenure in the MCU.
Thor vs The Rock probably won't happen anytime soon but it would be a decent enough fantasy for some. There's no way Johnson's character from the Fast and Furious franchise would stand a chance but he did break his cast by flexing, so anything can happen.
Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
