Marvel fans the world over are celebrating Chris Evans' latest career milestone — being named People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2022. The accolade has eluded the Captain America actor for years and now it's finally his for the taking. However, it seems like the 41-year-old star might have to share his new title with a previous owner of the honor.

It turns out that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson isn't ready to give up his "Sexiest Man Alive" title just yet, despite the fact that it changes every year. Appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to break the news to his good pal, the Black Adam star reminded his Red One co-star that he still holds the title (at least in his book), a distinction given to him in 2016.

The Rock hilariously says: "I am 'Sexiest Man Alive' in perpetuity which means for life". Evans seems to have zero problems with sharing his latest milestone. Check out their hilarious exchange below:

In other news, Johnson has made quite the impact on the DC Universe after successfully pushing for Henry Cavill's Superman return. Black Adam is still performing incredibly well at the box office, already passing the $300 million box office mark, and if anything, it has already solidified him as one of the franchise's top players as we usher in a brand new era for the DCU.

He sure wasn't kidding when he said that the hierarchy of power in the DCU was about to change and we're already feeling its effects.

DC's Black Adam is still screening in cinemas.
