Netflix's Marvel shows have generated quite the loyal following over the years and despite the fact that they aren't considered canon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans have been demanding Marvel Studios mainly Kevin Feige to give the said series — from Daredevil to The Defenders another go.

There's been a persistent rumor that has been circulating all over the internet that Jon Bernthal's The Punisher series is set for an epic renewal under Feige's supervision.

The good folks over at Geekosity have previously reported that Frank Castle is headed to the MCU and that the series will be R-rated. Now, in a new scoop, the entertainment website claims that the new Punisher project won't be premiering on Disney+ but will instead land on Hulu. No other details about the project were disclosed but it's worth noting that the House of Mouse has the majority of the streaming platform's ownership and by 2024, Disney will have complete control over Hulu.

With rumors circulating that Charlie Cox is about to make his MCU debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it makes total sense for Marvel Studios to also bring back other actors from the Netflix Marvel shows. Not only does it save them the hassle of casting new actors, but guys like Cox, Bernthal, Krysten Ritter, Finn Jones, and Mike Colter have already established themselves as their Marvel characters and it'll be easier to incorporate their respective stories into the billion-dollar franchise.

Meanwhile, Netflix's Marvel shows are still available on the streaming service.
