The Original 2008 Iron Man Armor Has Been Stolen

It looks like Tony Stark won't have a good time coming back to Earth. As if the tragic events of Avengers: Infinity War wasn't enough, the original Iron Man armor has now been stolen. All jokes aside, this is a pretty big deal since the armor and the film helped the MCU out and showed audiences what these superhero movies are capable of.

According to the LA Times, the iconic suit of armor was stolen from a prop storage warehouse in the 13000 block of Weidner Street sometime between February and late April. How the armor was stolen hasn't been disclosed or uncovered but the LAPD is on the case.

The price of the armor is at a whopping $325,000. This might be cheaper than most imagined since the armor helped start a billion dollar franchise but that's still a lot of money. Considering how Iron Man is more popular now than he ever has been, many fans have this armor to thank for that.

No suspects have been listed, though comic book fans will likely list AIM or Hydra as possible ones. The MCU version of Vulture could also be responsible since he and his crew stole a lot of this tech in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
