The New Mutants Gets Powerful Neon-Dipped IMAX Poster for August Release

Marvel fans may continue to wonder whether or not Marvel is going to keep its promise and release The New Mutants in cinemas by the end of this month, however, it seems like the studio has no qualms keeping the film's promotional campaign rolling. Not only has Marvel been releasing teasers and clips taken from the film, but it seems like the studio has decided to release a brand new poster featuring The New Mutants kids.

20th Century Studios and IMAX released a brand new poster for The New Mutants today to promote the film exclusive to IMAX theaters. Dipped in neon hues, the poster showcases the team altogether - Wolfsbane (Maisie Williams), Magik (Anya Taylor-Joy), Cannonball (Charlie Heaton), Mirage (Blu Hunt) and Sunspot (Henry Zaga). The poster's bright neon colors seem to emphasize the movie's rebellious teen spirit – tough fans shouldn't forget that this is a horror comic book movie.

There's still a lot of speculation that The New Mutants may be pushed back yet again in the face of COVID-19. Disney may insist that it's going to keep the film's August release date, however, theaters may not be open in every city later this month, proving a loss for Disney if it decides to push through with the film's debut.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and wait and see what Disney has planned for the movie.

The New Mutants is set to premiere on August 28, 2020.
