Hollywood is definitely back on track after the end of the months-long WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. On the Star Wars side of things, it means that projects that were previously put on hold may now push through with their respective productions.

Obviously, that includes the fourth season of The Mandalorian, and while Lucasfilm has yet to confirm if Mando and company will actually return for another season, instead of continuing their galactic journey through Dave Filoni's MandoVerse crossover film, a new update offers promising details on Season 4's production status.

Taking to Instagram, Brendan Wayne, one of Pedro Pascal's stunt doubles offered a promising update on Season 4's production status, a week removed from the SAG-AFTRA strikes' conclusion. He wrote: "Only one thing is more exciting to me than the strike being over or season 4 of Mando getting ramped up and that is Season 2 of Coach Mando and the Lady Lancers".

It's no secret to many of you that the Hollywood strikes prevented the show from entering production which was rumored to kickstart last September but now, it appears that Lucasfilm is ready to fast-track everything now that the strikes have ended.

Season 4's script which was penned by Jon Favreau was already completed earlier this year so you can imagine that things are headed in the right direction but of course, we still have to wait for Lucasfilm's official word.

It's worth mentioning though that Pascal's status remains uncertain, at least from the physical side of things as the Chilean actor will reportedly be busy filming two projects in the coming months.

On top of that, he is also rumored to be playing Reed Richards in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Fantastic Four reboot, and considering that project is one of Marvel Studios' top priorities, it would be safe to say that he'll continue to only do voice work for The Mandalorian.

For now, you can stream the first three seasons of The Mandalorian on Disney+.
