The Star Wars franchise has been riding a huge wave of momentum on streaming and I think we can unanimously agree that The Mandalorian was responsible for making it happen. The series, which made its debut in 2019 has been consistent in giving fans quality content that unfortunately, the sequel trilogy was not able to provide.

Now, with Season 3 just a few months away, excitement and anticipation are slowly building for the face-off between the show's titular character and Bo-Katan Kryze which will decide which between them is the rightful heir to the Mandalore throne. Now, it looks like the upcoming season will change everything we thought we knew about the show's ever-evolving story.

According to a report from Making Star Wars, the first official trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3 will make its way online on Christmas day. Not only that but the outlet provided new information about the upcoming season's plot and if you think you've got it all figured out, Lucasfilm might be pulling a massive swerve.

The report claims that although it's being hinted that Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze will become enemies in Season 3, that's not actually the case and the series will see them unite to battle a bigger threat. In fact, the upcoming trailer is said to be a major misdirection from the actual plot.

If you may recall, Season 2's epic finale set up the titanic clash between Mando and Bo-Katan over the darksaber, and since then, many have been under the impression that the famed female Mandalorian warrior will be taking a villainous turn.

The Mandalorian Season 3 will reportedly drop on February 22, 2023, only on Disney+.
