What Happened Before The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 4?
The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 3, Chapter 19: The Convert, picks up where the last episode ended where Bo-Katan Kryze just saved Din Djarin from the Living Waters. Meanwhile, Din feels as if he has been redeemed.
Bo-Katan asks Din whether he saw anything underwater and when Din said that he did not, Bo-Katan seemingly dismisses the thought of revealing to Din that she saw a creature underwater. Also, Baby Grogu uttered his first words saying, "This is the way." (Adorable Grogu!)
While heading back to Kalevala, TIE interceptors attacks their ship and Din asks to bring him to his starfighter so they can both eliminate the Imperial fighters. Upon reaching Bo-Katan's place, more attackers arrive and Din convinces Bo-Katan to escape with him.
At Coruscant, Dr. Penn Pershing thanks the New Republic for being a recipient of the amnesty program for his freedom. He goes to the other members of the amnesty program where he sees G68, an officer under Moff Gideon. The day after, Pershing and G68 bonds together.
Pershing gets interviewed by a droid about his current condition living under the New Republic's Amnesty Program. Pershing asks whether to continue the research on cloning but it is already prohibited, thus, he goes to G68 to help him, even if it means breaking the law.
As they enter into a decommissioned Star Destroyer, G68 reveals to Pershing that she is Elia Kane. But there, they were caught in the act and interrogated. It turns out, Elia worked with the Republic and is congratulated for her work.
Back to the two, Din takes Bo-Katan to a secret place where there is a Mandalorian covert. Paz Vizsla stops Din and he proves that he has been redeemed after bathing in the Living Waters. Din is welcomed after the proof is confirmed, as well as Bo-Katan.
