We have yet to find out what Greef Karga has been up to in The Mandalorian Season 2. However, it looks like Carl Weathers is already dropping clues on what his character is truly after. The veteran actor has teased on the possibility that Greef will have a truly unexpected plot twist in the second season of the Star Wars show.
Weathers was recently a guest on Breakfast Television Toronto where he pointed out that Greef's story arc is simply "having fun doing what he does — being duplicitous." However, he also admitted that all the secrecy has a reason and it could be revealed in the episode he helmed.
"I personally like the fact that he doesn't divulge a lot about himself because I think, in some ways, the less you know, the more interested you are in knowing, and Greef plays things pretty close to the vest, so I think that we... in the episode I directed, we hint that there may be some ulterior motives in Greef's desires and what he's after you know, his goals and I personally think that's more than enough," Weathers said.
This is interesting news considering that Greef is one of the people that Mando trusts in the show so far. Hopefully, his goals will not have anything to do with harming Baby Yoda or Mando in any way.
The second episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on November 6.
