In case you haven't heard, cameras have started rolling for The Mandalorian's upcoming third season and while its production faced several delays over the last couple of months, most notably due to COVID-19 restrictions, it looks like the anticipated comeback of Din Djarin is close to completion. Still, very little is known about Season 3 at this rate other than the fact that it will be centered on Mando and Bo-Katan's battle over the Mandalore throne.

According to Pedro Pascal himself, Season 3 is said to feature several new faces in the MandoVerse and it looks like Parks and Recreation star Jim O'Heir is one of them. During an appearance on the Parks and Recollection podcast hosted by his co-star Rob Lowe, the latter implied that O'Heir is on his way to the Star Wars universe and while he was trying to play coy during the conversation, nothing definitive was disclosed.

When Lowe asked O'Heir what's keeping him busy these days, he said: "Oh, shoot. I don't know if I'm allowed to say where I am. I can say a state. I'm in a state, New Mexico, I don't know." Lowe would later crack a joke, saying: "I will say, Jim, I know what you're working on, and it rhymes with the latest installment of 'Bar Wars.'"

As it stands, we still can't verify whether or not O'Heir is actually journeying to a galaxy far, far away but I gotta say, if his involvement in the franchise is true, he's a surprising casting choice given his previous body of work. But then again, Bill Burr was also part of The Mandalorian first two seasons and played an effective villain-turned-hero despite being known by many as a stand-up comedian.

The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to hit Disney+ later this year.
