It already feels like an eternity since we last saw Din Djarin and Grogu and now, we're only a number of weeks away from the premiere of The Mandalorian Season 3. The upcoming series raises the stakes for our titular hero who is put in an unenviable spot of battling his one-time ally Bo-Katan Kryze in order to determine which between them should bring the Mandalore tribe back to prominence.

Aside from its main plot which was already set up in the previous season, we still don't know much about Season 3 but judging by the teasers we've seen, it's going to introduce us to more Mandalorian warriors who have seemingly surfaced out of nowhere. Now, lead star Pedro Pascal is ready to discuss more details about the action-packed season.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Pascal teased some of the things fans can expect in the third season and how Grogu plays an integral role amid all the Mandalore drama. He shared: "I will say, there will be more Mandalorians, a lot of them. There will be an epic battle…Plural? Maybe?"

Pedro would then joke about Baby Yoda potentially replacing him as the show's main protagonist. "Grogu is very good. Still learning, teaching, protected, protecting. I think if I say anything more, I'll be replaced. Like not just as The Mandalorian, but as a human being in life."

As it stands, we still don't know what the future holds for the series but word on the street is that Lucasfilm is looking to extend The Mandalorian for at least two more seasons. Of course, it wouldn't be all that surprising given the show's popularity.

The third season of The Mandalorian is hitting Disney+ on March 1, 2023.
