The Mandalorian Officially Makes This Forgotten Force Power Canon

The Mandalorian Episode 7 is out now in Disney+ and it continues to be the best form of Star Wars media out right now if the reviews of The Rise of Skywalker are to be believed. While we ponder on the "final" Star Wars movie's quality, since most of us can't see it yet, the most recent episode of The Mandalorian does give fans a lot to talk about, especially the canonization of a Force Power that only existed in Star Wars Legends (the non-canon material).

During Episode 7, The Reckoning, Greef Karga is almost killed by a beast's poisonous slash and just when it seemed like we were going to get a big death, Baby Yoda rescued him. Not only did Baby Yoda heal Karga but he also got the poison out of his body, before fainting from overuse of this Force Power.

It's clear that Baby Yoda is fairly powerful but the fact that he can't fully control his powers yet shows the problem with age, even if he is supposedly 50. It seems like being 50 as a Yoda, or whatever they're called, is fairly young for this species, which makes sense since Yoda was hundreds, maybe even thousands, of years old.

We probably won't see Baby Yoda use Force Lightning anytime soon but the nature of his powers is part of this show's intriguing mystery. With one more episode to go before the season's end, we all have to wonder what we'll all be thinking about Baby Yoda by the time this series ends.

The Mandalorian Episode 7 is now available on the Disney+ streaming service.
