The Mandalorian's finale is almost here and there's one question fans of the hit Star Wars series have been dying to get answered: who is the Mandalorian traitor who's been serving as Moff Gideon's spy?

When it was revealed in Chapter 21 that a group of Mandalorians potentially helped Gideon escape the ship meant to take him to Coruscant, suspicion surrounding The Armorer began.

For weeks now, fans have noticed the sudden change in the character's demeanor and many of them believe that she's just waiting for the right opportunity to betray her kind.

Although The Armorer has been displaying every red flag in the book for most of the season, some are convinced that it's just a form of diversion from the show's creatives. One character fans are suspecting to be Gideon's spy is Axe Woves, the de facto leader of Bo-Katan Kryze's Nite Owls.

For starters, Woves was missing in action when Gideon and the Imperial Troopers ambushed the Mandalorians in the Great Forge. There's also a strong possibility that the shards of beskar found in the ship discovered by Carson Teva were actually from Woves' group.

There's one hole to this theory though, and that is the fact that The Armorer is the only one who has the ability to forge beskar. Seeing as Gideon and the Troopers are now wearing armor made from the Mandalorian alloy, signs once again point to her being the traitor.

The show pulling a massive swerve in the finale wouldn't come as a surprise. However, many are already invested in the idea of The Armorer being revealed as the Mandalorian traitor and not to knock on Woves, but it would be too underwhelming of a twist if he ends up becoming Gideon's spy.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how Chapter 24 goes.

The Mandalorian Season 3's finale episode is streaming tomorrow, April 19 on Disney+.
