There is little doubt that the season finale of The Mandalorian Season 2 is going to be a big one considering that Mando is set to confront Moff Gideon and rescue Baby Yoda. But where exactly is the epic battle taking place? It looks like Gideon's hideout has been revealed and he's actually in one of the most dreaded locations in the Star Wars Universe.
In the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2, Mando managed to get the coordinates to Gideon's location, thanks to Mayfeld. Star Wars Theory checked on the details and figured out that Gideon's hideout could be in Nar Shaddaa.
This isn't exactly good news. Nar Shaddaa is also known as "Smugglers Moon" and is notorious for being home to a large criminal underworld dominated by bounty hunters and Hutt crime lords. Well, it's not good news for Mando and his companions but it's going to be awesome for Star Wars fans who have always wanted to see the live-action version of the moon.
Nar Shaddaa may not have appeared in the films and TV shows just yet but it is a well-known location in Star Wars Legends. Considering that The Mandalorian has been slowly making certain parts of Legends canon all over again, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Nar Shaddaa becomes the location for the huge battle in the Season 2 finale.
