The Mandalorian Season 3 officially wrapped filming last March but Star Wars fans were in for a major shocker when actress Katee Sackhoff recently revealed on social media that the beloved series will undergo additional filming. On Instagram, the Bo-Katan Kryze actress apologized to her fans for missing the Fan Expo convention in Denver which took place over the weekend.

Sackhoff didn't exactly namedrop the show but her statement, saying that she "I ended up working much, much later on a little show we all know and love" was already a dead giveaway that it's in fact The Mandalorian she was referring to.

Now, it seems to appear that Sackhoff isn't the only one involved in the reshoots. Ming-Na Wen, who plays Boba Fett's trusty ally Fennec Shand also took to social media to announce the cancelation of her upcoming con appearance in Chicago.

The Mulan and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actress was set to make an appearance in the event which takes place from July 7 to 10. According to her, she'll be missing the event due to work. Ming-Na didn't go into detail about her prior commitment but the timing of her post and Sackhoff's Fan Expo Denver cancelation seems to indicate that Fennec Shand will also be part of the reshoots.

As it stands, we still haven't gotten updates regarding the extent of the show's additional filming but it would be safe to assume that they're far from just being minor reshoots. We still have a few months away before Season 3 premieres so there's definitely nothing to worry about.

All two seasons of The Mandalorian are available for streaming on Disney+. Meanwhile, Season 3 is expected to premiere in February 2023.
