There's no denying that Pedro Pascal has been the central figure of The Mandalorian since its inception which is why avid viewers of the hit Star Wars series have grown increasingly frustrated with how Din Djarin has been utilized in Season 3.
Going into the third season, it almost felt like we were guaranteed to see Din make his rightful ascension as the new ruler of Mandalore. However, as the show's story progressed, the character was slowly getting sidelined in favor of Bo-Katan Kryze's own redemption arc.
This week's explosive episode saw Mando get captured by Moff Gideon and the closing sequence of Chapter 23 was pretty intense, some even thought he was getting killed right there and then.
For weeks now, fans have been theorizing that Din will in fact get written off in the show. Now, Pascal's stand-in actor claims that this season's finale will break the hearts of fans.
Taking to his Instagram, Brendan Wayne, who plays Pascal's in-suit double offered a cryptic update ahead of Chapter 24. He wrote: "This next episode is gonna make you wish you hadn’t asked for more… it might just hurt too much."
Unsurprisingly, it had many fans thinking that Season 3 will indeed mark the end of the Din Djarin character.

Last week, rumors started circulating all over the web that Pedro Pascal might exit the show after Season 3 with insider Jeff Sneider of The Hot Mic podcast claiming that the actor has been unhappy with the show since the second season.
Pascal's absence during Star Wars Celebration Europe also added more fuel to the fire but as it stands, the folks behind the series have yet to address the show's future past the ongoing season. Hopefully, Pascal sticks around until the eventual release of Dave Filoni's MandoVerse film.
