The Mandalorian BTS Photo Shows Off A Bounty Hunter’s Helmet In Iron Man Colors

Lucasfilm might have been very careful about handling its upcoming projects like Star Wars: Episode IX and The Mandalorian, but somehow, despite the many measures the studio takes to make sure that Star Wars fans are going to enjoy these film's and shows' release, spoilers still seem to make their way online thanks to leaks and fan theories.

Now, as Star Wars fans wait for The Mandalorian to drop on Disney+, fans get to see what might be a spoiler for the series hidden away in one of Jon Favreau's new posts. The Iron Man director decided to take to Instagram today to share a new behind-the-scenes photo of his upcoming Star Wars series, and in the image, followers get to see Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi recording lines for what seems to be the bounty hunter, IG-88. While that seems like a surprise in itself, what has fans taking is the Mandalorian helmet painted in Iron Man's colors hidden away in the film.

Are we going to get a Mandalorian warrior painted in Iron Man's color palette in The Mandalorian? Or is the helmet just a fun decorative piece lying around the recording room?

It's a little bit hard to discern what Favreau might have really intended by sharing the image on Instagram. The filmmaker didn't leave any sort of caption, so it's hard to confirm anything for The Mandalorian.

Right now there's very little that we know about the series. Set to premiere in Disney+, The Mandalorian will follow the adventures of a lone Mandalorian Warrior as he travels across the outer rim.

The Mandalorian is set for release sometime this year on Disney's upcoming streaming service.
