The Maid I Hired Recently is Mysterious Episode 1 Recap
The first episode kicks off with Yuuri’s big responsibility as the headmaster of the house. After the death of his parents, Yuuri is left to fend for himself. With little property on his hand, he doesn’t have enough wealth to cover the fees for his own servants.
Nonetheless, Yuuri puts on a brave front despite not knowing for sure what to do in the house. With no experience at all, Yuuri tried every household chore to the best of his ability. Unfortunately, the results are not remarkable at all.
Surprisingly, a lovely maid arrived at his door before the day was done. Lilith was unlike any other servant he had ever met! Aside from her stunning physique, she also has beautiful eyes.
The most important thing is that Yuuri's new maid is unconcerned about his declining fortune. She only cares about helping Yuuri and serving in the household. There is no pay at all! As a result, Yuuri decided to accept her as her personal maid.
The next thing Yuuri knows, he's developing doubts about his maid's true identity. He discovered her casting spells in the library one day. Thus, he came to the conclusion that Lilith was a witch.
On the other hand, Lilith is only reading a book about household chores. The funniest part is that Yuuri believes the opposite. Yuuri seriously thinks Lilith has cast a spell on him because her appearance has bothered him since day one.
The following night, Yuuri found Lilith working in the kitchen. This led him to believe Lilith had been concocting potions to influence his feelings for her. However, Lilith is only working on new dishes for Yuuri to eat.
The next day, Yuuri confronted Lilith. He believes that Lilith is a witch! He claims Lilith has concocted a love potion for him. Yuuri seriously thinks his theories are correct because Lilith's presence bothers him.
After all of Yuuri's speculations, Lilith ends up teasing him. Surprisingly, Lilith is always taken aback when Yuuri expresses his feelings for her bluntly. Even though Yuuri is still young, his forthright declarations about his feelings for Lilith are surprisingly genuine.
Before the episode ends, Lilith begins teasing Yuuri by addressing him by his first name rather than "Young Master," prompting Yuuri to reciprocate by addressing Lilith by her first name as well.
