A user from Twitter, Mikhail Villarreal shared photos of the cover and the promo art for the calendar. It offers a fresh look into the film's huge cast. However, Robbie's Harley Quinn is the focus in most of the calendar's artwork. It also includes the month of December.
Bloodsport played by Idris Elba also got his month's worth of images just for himself. Other characters include some newcomers in the DCEU such as Peacemaker, King Shark, Polka-Dot Man, and Ratcatcher 2.
James Gunn's The Suicide Squad will mark Robbie's third time as Harley. She first played the role in 2016's Suicide Squad and 2020s Birds of Prey. Gunn hinted that he may reunite with Robbie in another DCEU project in the future. It may serve the actor's fourth go-round with the franchise.
Gunn also hyped the role of Harley in The Suicide Squad, which may include what he described as a stunt involving The Cupid of Crime. Gunn stated that Margot is a pure athlete and will do many stunts in such a magnificent, graceful, and beautiful way.
Gunn added that the biggest action he has done was for Harley which was fun to create for him. The stunt guys worked all the way through with Harley. He said that it will be his favorite four minutes that he has ever shot before.
The Suicide Squad will be released on HBO Max and theaters on August 6, 2022.
