Recent rumors suggested that Zaslav ordered the upcoming The Flash starring the ever-so-controversial Ezra Miller film to reshoot its final act and judging by the recent test screenings for the film, the DCEU has been given renewed hope.

According to a report from World of Reel,The Flash will feature a jaw-dropping cameo appearance from late Superman actor Christopher Reeve who will obviously be CGI'd. The report also claims that the film garnered a favorable response during a recent test screening and currently, it is the highest-rated DCEU film to date.

The outlet adds that the film will in fact take inspiration from the Flashpoint storyline where Barry attempts to bring back his mother by messing with the space-time continuum.

Despite the positive feedback for the film, there's no denying that the majority of the DCEU fandom are still skeptical about seeing The Flash due to the recent controversies involving Miller and despite the actor finally coming clean and apologizing to the people who were affected by his troubled behavior, his public perception has already been tainted.

Whether or not fans will actually change their minds about boycotting the film remains to be seen though.

DC's The Flash is currently slated for a theatrical release on June 23, 2023.
