Fortnite developer Epic Games has officially revealed the new DC crossover skin, The Flash following a recent leak. The Flash skin and corresponding item set will be available to players that compete in and win the Duos event called The Flash Cup on Februrary 10. The new skin and set will also be available in Fortnite's Item Shop beginning Saturday, February 13, at 7PM ET/ 4 PM PT.
On February 10, players can participate in 10 matches of The Flash Cup in a 3-hour window, and the top-performing Duos in each region will unlock The Flash Outfit and the Speed Force Back Bling for free before they arrive in the Item Shop.
To participate in The Flash Cup, players must have an account level at 30 or above and have 2FA enabled on their accounts.
Here's what's included in The Flash skin set:
The Flash Outfit: Enter the battle as Barry Allen.
The Speed Force Slashers Pickaxe: Lightning strikes twice with this dual-bolt Pickaxe.
The Speed Force Back Bling: Display The Flash's electrified emblem.
The Quick Bite Emote: Grab a light(speed) snack.
You can purchase these items individually or as part of The Flash bundle that includes a Flash-themed loading screen.
The Flash suit that appears in the game looks like the same suit in the CW show of the same title. However, the official announcement doesn't mention if the new The Flash skin is specifically based on The CW show.
