The Flash Set to Start Production February 2019 in Atlanta

The Flash solo film starring Ezra Miller was originally intended to come out early this year, but several production problems have lead to the film getting delayed multiple times. Now the movie has locked down on directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, and news has it that the film finally has a set date for production.

According to PursueNews, The Flash is scheduled to start production February of 2019. The movie was previously set to shoot in London, but new intel suggests that The Flash will now be rolling its cameras in Atlanta.

We don't know what story direction this solo movie is going to take, but for a while it was said that they would follow the Flashpoint arc. With Goldstein and Daley aboard though, it looks like they want to focus on a different story; which I think is great since I think it's way too early to introduce Flashpoint to the DCEU.

Besides Miller, we have Kiersey Clemons (Dope) taking on the role of Barry Allen's love interest Iris West. It's also a good chance that the story will give us more on Henry Allen (Billy Crudup) and why he's in jail when we meet him in Justice League.

There is still no final release date for The Flash, but with production set early 2019, we could be looking at a release sometime in 2020.
