The Flash Reportedly Adds Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa

One of the most anticipated comic book movies this year is DCEU's The Flash as it is expected to venture into the multiverse and possibly change the course of the future of the franchise as it will be inspired by the "Flashpoint" storyline from the comics. The exact plot details are still under wraps, but it is expected to feature an array of various DC characters due to its multiverse nature. Now, it looks like two notable DCEU stars will also be part of the film.

ScreenGeek has reported that Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa will be appearing in The Flash reprising their respective roles of Wonder Woman and Aquaman. The exact nature of their appearance in the film whether it's a cameo or a prominent supporting role is still unknown at this point. With their potential appearance, they are joining their fellow Justice League cast members Ezra Miller and Ben Affleck, who are both confirmed to be part of the film.

We do have to take note that this didn't come from the major trades nor confirmed by Warner Bros. and DC so we have to take this with a grain of salt for now. Assuming that it is true, it is interesting to know that the film will have the appearances of the majority of the Justice League. A safe guess right now is that the two actors will only be appearing in a cameo role as the logline and marketing pretty much hinted that the film's main plot will surround Flash, Michael Keaton's Batman, and Supergirl.

There have also been rumors that the film will reset the entire DCEU timeline so that could be a good way to integrate Gadot and Momoa in the film even for a cameo appearance where we can see how the potential reset will affect them and also establishes the new continuity of the franchise. While it's not officially confirmed yet, it is awesome to know that there is a possibility that we might see the two characters again on the big screen and potentially share the same scene with the titular hero. We will find out soon enough if this report is true.
