It has been a long wait but The Flash movie will finally be dropped later this year. Interestingly, we've been waiting for the DC Extended Universe flick for so long but the details about it have not yet been revealed. For instance, who is the main villain in the film? A new T-shirt meant for the stunt crew may have confirmed that it's someone with a major connection to Barry Allen!
Stunt performer Shane Steyn recently shared a photo of a T-shirt he received after working on The Flash. The shirt features Supergirl and Batman and what appears to be The Flash himself. However, some fans are pointing out that the silhouette looks sinister and specter-like and might actually be Black Flash.
Black Flash could be an interesting villain in the film if the character does show up in the movie. After all, there was a time in the comics where Barry Allen briefly becomes Black Flash, who is like the embodiment of Death who operates within the Speed Force. Since there have been speculations that Barry will go up against an evil version of himself in the movie, it would make sense that he will be facing off against Black Flash.
Although we're loving the idea of Black Flash in The Flash, there's another possible villain who could appear in the film. Fans are already expecting Reverse-Flash to be the main baddie in the movie but we have yet to find out who will play the character. Hopefully, we'll finally learn more when a new trailer for the DCEU flick is dropped.
The Flash will star Ezra Miller, Ron Livingston, Michael Keaton, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Sasha Calle, and Ben Affleck. The film is scheduled for release on November 4, 2022.
