Marvel Studios is slowly getting the production wheels rolling, with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier reportedly heading back to the Czech Republic soon.

Production for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was in full swing in the Czech Republic when filming was halted back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, according to Murphy's Multiverse, the Disney+ series will return to the European city in October, extending shoot until November, in the hopes of returning home by holidays.

With the original plan for the show to premiere on Disney+ last month, should filming set place till November, it's likely that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier could be delayed to 2021. That being said, with around two weeks left of filming, assuming that this footage won't be a large chunk of the show, it could make its 2020 release date after all.

Depending on the sequences left to be filmed, it could be reasonable for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier to settle for a 2021 release date.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will see the return of Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes. Most recently, fans got a full look at the pair's costume in t-shirt merchandise.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is yet to have a new release date.
