There is little doubt that the latest episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier had fans screaming for the new Falcon. After all, Sam Wilson decided to leave his wingsuit with Joaquin Torres. So will we be seeing Joaquin take on the mantle? Danny Ramirez may have hinted at Joaquin's development in the future.
Ramirez certainly had fans talking when he debuted as Joaquin in the premiere episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Since then, there have been a few clues teasing Joaquin taking up the Falcon mantle.
But will Joaquin start working with Sam to become the next Falcon? Ramirez told Screenrant that he's still unsure but is hoping for the best.
"I'm curious, just like you are, as to where they will go. Because I'm told the absolute bare minimum of what I need to know," Ramirez said. He then added that he doesn't know much about what's happening in the series as a whole.
"Even as the episodes are coming out, I'm watching them for the first time, which is really exciting," Ramirez continued. He then dropped a hopeful comment about what will happen in the series finale.
"I guess I'll know that answer better after I see Episode 6," Ramirez teased.
For now, it's unclear whether Joaquin will be able to fix the wingsuit in time for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6. After all, the wings were badly damaged in the fight against John Walker. On the other hand, we're still hoping that Joaquin comes through and is introduced as the new Falcon in the series.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6 is currently set to be the series finale but there is a possibility that it won't be the last episode. The still-untitled episode will premiere on Disney+ on April 23, 2021.
