The Fairly OddParents Live-Action Unveils First Look of Adult Timmy Turner

If you ask people these days what cartoon they remember from the 2000s, The Fairly OddParents has a huge chance of being mentioned. It is one of the longest-running shows on Nickelodeon and it is finally having a live-action reboot from Paramount+. As the first trailer dropped so did the jaws of everyone as it unveiled the first look of Timmy Turner who is now an adult.

Paramount Plus just released the first trailer of The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder, the live-action reboot of the beloved children’s television show of the same name and this time, Timmy Turner is an adult. In the trailer, Timmy retains his classic pink shirt and hat but now, it has the word “Princeton” which points out that he is now in college.

Also, in the trailer are, of course, Timmy’s hilarious godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, the iconic duo and they remain as funny as ever, still looking the same after all these years. Additional characters were also introduced such as Vivian and Roy, step-siblings. Timmy shows to them both Cosmo and Wanda and they introduced themselves as their fairy godparents.

The first thing Vivian wished for was a better room then it was followed by more. As they wished for more and more absurdities, another familiar face arrived in the trailer, everyone knows him for “Da Rules,” Jorgen Von Strangle. What could possibly go wrong?

The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder enters into a whole new world and while Timmy Turner seems to be there only temporarily, as seen in the trailer where he only gives to his cousins his fairy godparents, it’s nostalgic to see Cosmo and Wanda in action again.

The original voice cast of Cosmo and Wanda returns with Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee accordingly. Butch Hartman and Fred Seibert will also be back as the producers of the show. Christopher Nowak will be the showrunner and the executive producer of the series. It will be running through one season with 13 episodes.

The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder is scheduled to stream its premiere on March 31, 2022 on Paramount Plus.
