After its announcement back in September 2021, a new promo video for The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2 has been released online, showing off new footage from the upcoming season.
This new video for The Duke of Death and His Maid was released on the NBCUniversal Anime/Music YouTube, and it features nearly a minute of all-new footage, most of which feature the main characters, the Duke of Death and Alice Lendrott.

The Duke of Death and His Maid is a 3DCG anime series by J.C.Staff and Shogakukan Music & Digital Entertainment. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Koharu Inoue which was published by Shogakukan from October 2017 to May 2022.
The anime series features a stacked voice cast, with the Duke of Death voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro in Demon Slayer, Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul) and Alice voiced by Ayumi Mano (Natsumi Kyouno in Date A LiveUchida
Joining them in the voice cast is Inori Minase (Rem in Re:Zero) as Viola, Yuma Ucida (Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen) as Walter, Hiroshi Kamiya (Levi in Attack on Titan) as Zain, and Yōko Hikasa (Rias Gremory in High School DxD) as Daleth.
The series’ story follows the Duke of Death. When he was a boy, the duke was cursed by a witch so that everything living thing he touches dies.
Because of this, his family sent him away to live alone in a secluded mansion, with only two people for company – an elderly butler, and childhood friend Alice.
Despite his condition, Alice constantly teases and flirts with the duke. Hidden beneath this teasing relationship of theirs is a budding romance.
Season 1 aired from July 4 to September 19, 2021. The first season was streamed outside Japan on Funimation.
The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2 will premiere sometime in 2023. Currently, there’s no word yet on a release window or where the show will stream outside Japan.
