Netflix has found another hit with The Dragon Prince, and the second season of the show is expected to come out sometime this year. Just in, we have a leaked image of a new type of elf in the film.

The image is said to come from a new trailer for the show. The preview hasn't been released, but at least we have some teaser as to what to expect.
In the first season, we get to meet the race of the Moonshadow Elves, and it's also the same race that one of the protagonists, Rayla, hails from. There are several other types of elves according to the lore, and judging by the fiery background, it's very likely that we're looking at a Sunfire elf.
The other two races of elf are known as the Star Elves, and the Skywing Elves.
With first "book" of The Dragon Prince being titled Moon, I'm guessing the following season will be centered on a certain source of magic that has been listed down in the series. So far, there are six main sources of magic, being the Sky, Stars, Ocean, Earth, Sun, and Moon; seven if you count Dark Magic as a source. With the Sunfire elf in the photo, I'm guessing book 2 is Sun.
Though I'm not as big of a fan as the animation, The Dragon Prince is a show that definitely grows on you. Creator Aaron Ehasz was the lead writer for Avatar: The Last Airbender, and you can feel some familiar elements from ATLA being implemented in TDP.
No specific release date has been set for The Dragon Prince 2.
