The Darth Vader Comic to Reveal how Vader Got His Castle in Rogue One

Though we don't know when we'll see Darth Vader onscreen again, he was an amazing part of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. That film gave us a glimpse of his personal sanctum in Mustafar, but Darth Vader comic writer Charles Soule reveals that we will be getting the origin of the place sometime soon.

Though we don't know how exactly Vader came upon it, we already know a little things about his castle. For one, it's built on the planet Mustafar, where Anakin Skywalker faced his greatest defeat in Revenge of the Sith. It's also built on top of a Dark Side cave, and its shape is inspired by the Dark Side temples as well.

The tuning fork shape was even said to help Vader channel the Dark Side. And there were rumors going around the galaxy that captured Jedi were brought there to face their death.

Before Rogue One, I kind of imagined that Vader would just lounge about a Star Destroyer all day, but the concept of him having his own castle was kind of cartoonish and fantastic. I don't know how long he actually spends time there, but I imagine we'll know more once the Darth Vader comic reveals it to us.

We still have no release date for the next Darth Vader issue.
