The CW Orders Nine More Episodes for Batwoman Season One

CW's Batwoman has proven to be pretty popular, just like all of the CW-DC but it seems that this one is gaining more viewers than expected. The CW is pretty impressed with this series thus far and has asked for an impressive nine more episodes to be added to Batwoman Season One. It's not the biggest number in the world but does provide fans with more episodes to enjoy.

Deadline confirmed that there would be nine more episodes added, which can be seen as both a good and bad thing. Good because it means more Batwoman and bad because there could also be filler added. Sadly, filler is common practice with these CW-DC shows and every popular series in general, so it's a necessary evil.

Batwoman first debuted last year during the Elseworlds crossover and is expected to play a big part during Crisis on Infinite Earths. She's not in the same universe as Arrow and The Flash but Kate Kane has interacted with them before so their next team-up should be a treat. These nine episodes may or may not tease Crisis but considering how big this event is going to be, The CW better uses these additional episodes wisely.

What do you guys think of the additional Batwoman episodes? Will it make Batwoman Season One better or worse? Let us know in the comments below.
