The Clone Wars' Ashley Eckstein has Advice for Next Ahsoka Actor

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is over and many are quick to state that this is one of the best representations of Star Wars in any form of media. Considering how many arcs it had and characters that fans are going to miss, it's really hard to disagree with that argument. If there was only one good thing that came from this series - and believe us, there are multiple good things that came from The Clone Wars - it's that Ahsoka is an awesome character.

Ashley Eckstein, who voiced Ahsoka since The Clone Wars movie, has some advice for whoever is going to play the character next. We want to say Rosario Dawson but Disney is staying mum about that fact so we'll assume that Ashley is forced to do the same. At the least, she's a good sport who wants what's best for the franchise, fans, and character so it's really cool of her to do this.

"Any new actress that would step into Ahsoka's shoes, I would say I just hope she realizes what Ahsoka means to people, because Ahsoka has changed lives. She's saved lives. So, I would just ask that anyone that joins Team Tano recognizes how important she is to so many people, and they do their best to continue to carry on her legacy."

To be frank, we hope Dawson adds some gravitas to this already beloved character, assuming that the reports are true of course. It's going to take some extensive makeup/special effects to make sure that an adult Ahsoka looks good in live-action. Whatever The Mandalorian Season 2 has planned for her, let's hope they succeed.

Fans who haven't yet can watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian right now on Disney+.
