With the first season finally complete after the release of its 12th episode, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses just confirmed that Season 2 is in the works.
The show’s second season announcement was revealed shortly after the Season 1 finale, and it was revealed via a promo video featuring the five main girls of the series.
While it may not have gotten much attention from seasonal anime viewers, it seems that this harem anime has become a big enough hit that it was quickly picked up for a second season.
The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses: An Under-the-Radar Harem Anime
The Spring 2023 season featured lots of highly anticipated titles, though it’s fair to say that shows like Demon Slayer and Oshi no Ko got the most attention. Other romance anime like The Dangers in My Heart were also big hits.
Though it wasn’t talked about all that much online, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses is a show that gained a sizeable audience, especially among harem anime fans.
It’s not too surprising that it gained a loyal fan base given its familiar premise and stacked voice cast. Not to mention that the manga that it’s based on is a hit with over 1 million copies in circulation as of April 2023.
Specifically, its voice cast features well-known VAs such as Asami Seto (Nobara in Jujutsu Kaisen), Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika in Bocchi the Rock!), and Sumire Uesaka (Nagatoro in Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro), among others.
Meanwhile, the show is animated by Tezuka Productions, the studio behind other popular harem and romance anime like The Quintessential Quintuplets Season 1 and Girlfriend, Girlfriend.

The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Season 2 Is Official
The reveal was made via a short 15-second-long video featuring the five female leads.
While this video featured a visual with the five main girls, it did not feature any new footage from the second season.

There’s not a lot of info yet regarding the second season, though this makes sense considering that its release is set for 2024. This means fans will have to wait a while for more details.
For now, there’s no word yet on when exactly in 2024 The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Season 2 will be released.
Though fans believe that the show’s staff and studio will be back for the second season.
