The Boys has Unwittingly Reunited Jack Quaid with His Hunger Games Co-Star

While The Boys may have its main superhero antagonists with The Seven, the show introduces other ‘smaller' heroes from time to time. What's interesting is, one hero introduced in Season 2, Blindspot, was actually a co-star of Jack Quaid (Hughie) when he worked on The Hunger Games.

Check it out:

Admittedly, Quaid was the one who was given a credit playing Marvel, the tribute from District 1. Chris Mark, who was also a stunt performer, had played a tribute boy who came from District 5. It's kind of a waste that the two weren't able to share a scene, but it's fun enough that fans were able to find out that Quaid and Mark had previously worked together.

Though Mark's scene was only short in The Boys, it definitely memorable. Blindspot was a clear homage to Daredevil, being a disabled superhero martial artist. I think having Homelander burst his eardrums is kind of a jab at how easy it is to (further) disable Daredevil—and, of course, another way to show the audience how much of a psychopath Homelander is.

Who knows, maybe there's a chance for Blindspot to make an appearance again, but I kind of doubt it, seeing that Homelander is very keen on not leaving any witnesses to his horrible attitude.

For now, The Boys is releasing episodes weekly, but the premiere had a drop of the first 3 episodes, so you won't be too starved for content. Catch episode four when it comes out on Amazon Prime Video this Friday.
