In an interview with the cast by Fandango, Pattinson reveals that it's important to get through the first film’s release as it will dictate whether it will have a sequel or not. He then said that he is interested in playing the character ‘many times and discussed the possibility of a trilogy with director Matt Reeves.

"I'm down to do it as many times as people want to see it, really. Like I mean I got to get this one out first. But yeah, like, I mean I've talked to Matt about the idea of doing a trilogy and that would be wonderful. I really, really enjoyed the process and it's such a fun character to play. And yeah, that'd be lovely. Lovely. I'm down to do it as many times as people want to see it, really. Like I mean I got to get this one out first. Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy was successful in portraying DC’s Batman with Christian Bale for almost a decade. Starting with Batman Begins, which is quickly followed by The Dark Knight, and ended with the Dark Knight Rises. Nolan’s take on the Dark Knight was dark and climatic that apparently loved by the fans, especially Heath Ledger’s iconic Joker role. This trilogy is labeled as ‘incomparable’ or GOAT but knowing Pattinson’s dedication and unremarkable acting, we’ll see if he is going to get his own trilogy.

Pattinson is joined by Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Collin Farrell as Penguin, and Andy Serkis as Alfred.

The Batman will be in theaters on March 4.
