The Batman Set Photos Show Bruce Wayne Being Attacked By Gotham Thugs

We already know that The Batman has started production and Robert Pattinson has already put on the new Batsuit. However, it looks like Bruce Wayne still needs a lot of practice. The latest photos taken from the set of the DC flick features Bruce being attacked and ultimately losing to a group of thugs.

The images were published by The Daily Mail and it shows a group of stuntmen filming an interesting scene for The Batman. In the pictures, a gang of men with painted faces gather around Pattinson's stunt double, who appears to be jogging in the park. You can view the photos here.

Unfortunately, Pattinson doesn't seem to be in the scene. However, it looks like the sequence will feature Bruce becoming a victim of the violent gangs who are terrorizing Gotham City. It's unclear if he will fight back just yet. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

It was previously reported that director Matt Reeves has finally offered a brief glimpse at Pattinson in the new Batsuit in a dark camera test. When we say "dark", we mean really dim to the point that you could barely see anything other than Pattinson's jawline. However, we're hoping that Reeves will give us a more brightly-lit update really soon.

The Batman will introduce Pattinson as the Caped Crusader. He will be joined by Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, and Peter Sarsgaard. The film is currently scheduled for release on June 25, 2021.
