Robert Pattinson has just revealed his first love and it isn't another celebrity! The star of The Batman has confessed that he fell in love with not one, but two girls who appear in the beloved role-playing game Final Fantasy VII!
Most people fall in love with an actor they grew up watching in films and TV shows but Robert Pattinson found his first love in a video game. The Batman actor recently spoke to the French show Clique where he admitted being smitten with two of the female characters in Final Fantasy VII while he was playing the games.
"I was in love with Aeris and Tifa," Pattinson confessed. "It’s the two options of girls… It’s a love triangle where Aeris, or Aerith depending on what version of the game you have… it's sometimes mistranslated."
He continued by explaining that Aerith is a "really kind girl that has superpowers to heal everyone and make the world a better place." The Twilight star then added that Tifa was "this sexy little thing, she’s like a thief and wears this short skirt, and you’re like, ‘I can’t decide!'"
We're not surprised that Pattinson loved Aerith and Tifa when he was playing Final Fantasy VII. After all, both characters are very attractive and have their own amazing qualities. With that in mind, the young Pattinson couldn't help but fall for their charms.
While Pattinson himself is smitten with video game characters, his own character in The Batman has a lot of things to worry about. In the film, Bruce Wayne is being tormented by the serial killer known as The Riddler who seems to know that Bruce moonlights as the Caped Crusader. It's going to be a race against time to catch the villain before the truth is revealed.
The Batman will hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
