The Batman Mock-Up Posters Imagine Johnny Depp as Robert Pattinson’s Joker

While we're getting several Bat-villains in The Batman like Riddler and Penguin, a lot of fans are curious about who is going to be the archenemy Joker. While no one seems to be confirmed for the role yet, internet artist BossLogic has given us a look at his choice for the role—Johnny Depp.

I have to say, these look fantastic, and you can sort of get some influence from Lee Bermejo's version of the Clown Prince of Crime. The diamonds on the eyes are something we got from Joaquin Phoenix's version of Joker, and that wild hair is still something that Heath Ledger's clown brought to the table. The hat is also a nice touch, and it reminds us of the one we got from Jack Nicholson's Joker.

For now, we don't know who WB has in store to play Joker, but I think Depp would be a great choice. Then again, with all the mess from his divorce, I would want to wait at least a year before he gets back in front of the camera. To be honest, I thought that his most recent performances have been lackluster, from Dead Men Tell No Tales to Crimes of Grindelwald. Hopefully, after the dust settles, he'll be ready to work again, and I'd be happy to see what he brings to the table should he be cast as another Clown Prince of Crime.

For now, everyone is just excited to see what the current villains are bringing to the film. We know Penguin is still kind of a thug in the movie, but Paul Dano's Riddler looks to be a Jigsaw-level psychopath.
