The Batman is currently in production and fans are undoubtedly excited about seeing the new incarnations of the most memorable DC comic book characters. For instance, we're all a little curious about how Jeffrey Wright will look like as Jim Gordon, right? Luckily, a new photo of the Westworld star has been revealed and it confirms Wright will be sporting Gordon's iconic mustache.
The image was shared on Twitter by a fan who recently met Wright in London. Interestingly, the post also teases on the actor revealing some details about his role in The Batman. Take a look at the picture below.
That looks like a mustache that Gordon would be proud of. Wright looks great in the photo and we're hoping we'll get an official glimpse at his character soon.
There hasn't been a lot of details about Wright's version of the DC character but there have been speculations that he won't be Commissioner yet when he is introduced in The Batman. It was previously reported that a character named Commissioner Pete Savage will appear in the Warner Bros. film. Needless to say, it could mean that Gordon is still trying to work his way up in the police force when we meet him in the Matt Reeves flick.
The Batman will introduce Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne. He will be joined by Zoe Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, John Turturro, and Peter Sarsgaard. The movie is scheduled for release on June 25, 2021.
